In 2024, we raised over $300,000 to fund the restoration of the first New York Central passenger car in our fleet! Each restoration costs at least $330,000 — covering the renewal of heating, air conditioning, electrical systems, and plumbing to ensure every car is fit for another half century of service. Every donation helps jumpstart the next restoration effort!
Our fleet of time machines has now grown to seven vintage passenger cars from the golden era of American rail travel. Once restored, this Great Steel Fleet will provide cultural, recreational, and educational experiences throughout the Midwest.
By expanding our capacity with more passenger cars, we can welcome more guests, broaden our events and offerings, and deepen our impact on the communities we serve.
