In 2023, we raised over $188,417 to fund roughly half of the cost of one New York Central passenger car! In 2024, fundraising is ongoing to finish the work and install over $100,000 of new heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Our fleet of time machines has grown to include eight vintage passenger cars from the golden era of American rail travel. When restored, this Great Steel Fleet will offer unique cultural, recreational, and educational experiences throughout the Midwest.
By expanding our capacity with restored passenger cars, we can welcome more guests, broaden our events and offerings, and deepen our impact on the communities we serve.
